Water is the foundation of all life. A healthy diet should contain 2-3 litres of water daily. Despite the fact that 70 % of the earth's area is water there is a serious shortage of drinkable water in the world.
One of the most significant measurements of the standard of living is access to drinking water.

Pure drinking water can be found in nature or available water can be processed by different means using filters and chemicals in order to make water drinkable.

The major part of water consumed is made drinkable by using chemicals. It is important to know the origin and composition of the water that we drink.

Our spring water rises naturally to ground level, filtered by layers of sand. The Kivistö spring is located on the Salpausselkä ridge, on the southern border of the Finnish lake district. The Salpausselkä ridge was formed during the last Ice Age more than 10 000 years ago.

Kivistö spring water is filtered by thick and clean layers of sand and moraine gravel. The spring water is pumped straight from the spring to our own factory.  Kivistö spring water is lead through 0,2-micron filters (thickness of human hair is about 30-200 microns) into bottles thus preserving the taste of life itself.
